A Bulk pricing rule gives a discount that depends on how many the shopper buys. Each tier is a quantity range with its own discount.

Tiers
- From and To set the quantity range. Leave To empty for “and above”.
- Each tier has its own discount type: % off, amount off (per item) or fixed price (per item).
- Add tier continues where the last tier ends, and gives the old last tier an upper limit.
- Use a preset fills in common tier sets: Buy more, save more (3+, 6+, 12+), Pairs and packs (2+, 5+) or Wholesale (10+, 50+, 100+).
Overlaps and gaps: If two tiers overlap, the one with the higher “From” wins. If there is a gap (for example 3–5 and 8+), quantities 6–7 get no discount. The editor warns you about both.
How quantity is counted
| Option | Counts | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Per product | Variations of one product add up. | 2 small + 1 large T-shirt = 3 T-shirts. |
| Per variation | Each variation separately. | 2 small and 1 large are counted as 2 and 1. |
| Mix and match | Everything the rule covers adds up. | Any 6 bottles from the Wine category. |
What the shopper pays
All items on a line get the tier price. With the tiers above, 4 mugs at $18.00 cost $16.20 each ($64.80). At 6 they cost $15.30 each.

In the shop
- A quantity pricing table appears on product pages the rule covers. See the next article.
- If your first tier starts at 1, the discounted price and a sale badge also show in the shop. Otherwise prices there stay normal and the discount appears in the cart.
