Your licence key arrives in your purchase email from Freemius, which runs checkout, licences and updates for Pro. The key switches on automatic updates and support. Pro features keep working if the licence expires.
Activate
- Install and activate Pro. WordPress shows a notice: Complete “Kayce Discount Rules Pro” activation now.
- Click it, or go to WooCommerce → Discount Rules Pro.
- Paste your key and click Activate License. You are taken to the rules screen, where the Pro rule types are ready to use.
Your rules stay reachable: The licence form appears only on the Discount Rules Pro screen. WooCommerce → Discount Rules keeps working before and after you activate.
Plans and site limits
A Single site licence works on one site; a Five sites licence on five. Each site you activate uses one slot. Local and staging addresses such as localhost or *.local don’t use a slot.
Your account
Open WooCommerce → Discount Rules Pro → Licence and account to see your plan, licence key and renewal date, download invoices, or change plans. You can also manage every site and licence from your customer dashboard at users.freemius.com, using your purchase email.
Move Pro to another site
- On the old site, open Licence and account and deactivate the licence. That frees the slot.
- On the new site, install Pro and activate the same key.
Updates
With an active licence, new versions appear in Dashboard → Updates and on the Plugins screen like any other plugin, and WordPress auto-updates work. Click View details to read the changelog.
Expired licences
If your licence expires, Pro keeps working on the version you have; only updates and support stop. Renew from your account to pick them up again.
