A Product discount rule changes the price of every product it covers, whatever quantity the shopper buys.
Discount types

- Percentages are capped at 100%.
- An amount off never takes a price below zero.
- A fixed price only applies when it is lower than the current price. A rule never raises a price.
For percentages, the quick buttons (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 50%) fill in the most common values.

In the shop
Because a product discount applies even when buying one, the discounted price shows in the shop, on the product page and in the cart, with a sale badge.
